    With the accelerating development of high speed rail in China and around the world, mobile communication for high speed rail becomes a hot topic in literatures. To provide broadband Internet access on trains for passengers and supply reliable mobile communication for high speed train control systems, it is essential to research the basic theories and concepts of wireless communications with high mobility. Therefore, topics of this workshop include high speed rail channel measurement and modeling, resource allocation and interference management, signal processing for wireless communications with high mobility, network architecture, etc. We organize this workshop to provide a platform to exchange views and summarize latest development on mobile communications for high speed rail issues across the world.
